This lab is centered around analog input. The main point was to include an analog resistor and print out its reading to the screen. My idea was initially to create a shy animal in a box with a one way mirror. This animal did not like to be observed so, when a person came nearby the lights would go out and the person could not see in. Thus, the paradox of my box…a parabox, if you will? To see into the box, you must come near it but to come near it renders the contents of the box unobservable.
Then I thought to myself, why would the animal wish to remain unobserved? The answer is one of life and death. Certainly, Schrödinger’s cat would benefit from not being observed. So, in this project, I offer Schrödinger’s cat a happy solution so that it can experience a bit of the world while remaining unobserved.
