While I’m taking a break from my ParaSite project in favor of my work with the NCAC on iCensr, I thought I might as well most some notes I took a month ago, lest I totally for get about them:
Thank the FSP for Phillip’s entry on Using PHP with the iPhone. It’s a simple enough concept that I have used for Processing applications before, but I’ve been so uncertain with the iPhone that I was at a total loss where to start. I began eyeing Dave’s tutorial on SOAP Web Services, but that just freaked me out a little too much. I needed something laid out simply first before I could look at all the code to set up a request.
It’s been a while since I’ve written XML. But here’s a reason to start again.
